The Nevadans for Affordable Clean Energy Choices PAC is a statewide coalition representing Nevada voters, large and small employers, community leaders, and consumers with a goal to open Nevada’s energy markets and give consumers the option to purchase renewable energy and lower overall energy costs.
While energy technology has vastly improved in recent years, Nevada laws have not kept pace with innovation. The absence of a competitive energy market in the Silver State has denied Nevadans the freedom to adopt clean energy and even threatens the pursuit of innovation. If approved, the Energy Choice Initiative would change that by prohibiting a legalized monopoly for electric utility generation and giving Nevadans the right to choose their service provider from an open retail market based on price, reliability, environmental impacts, and other important factors.
