LAS VEGAS (Sept. 13, 2017) – Adding to the impressive list of public officials and clean energy advocates speaking at “National Clean Energy Summit 9.0: Integrating Innovation” (NCES 9.0), three new industry executives will join the day-long discussion at Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 13. The additional participants join MGM Resorts International Chairman and CEO Jim Murren for a panel on integrating innovative clean energy technologies into buildings.
The moderator and panelists include:
- Barbara Humpton, President and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies, Inc.
- Rose McKinney-James (moderator), Managing Principal at Energy Works
- Heather Zichal, Executive Vice President, International WELL Building Institute and former Deputy Assistant to President Obama for Energy and Climate Change
The National Clean Energy Summit is co-sponsored each year by the Clean Energy Project and MGM Resorts International and features world-class speakers and panelists. With a theme of “Integrating Innovation,” this year’s event will focus on how to maximize the benefits of innovative clean energy technologies, how state and local governments have integrated clean energy solutions to benefit the public, how the military is incorporating advanced energy into its core mission, new ways to integrate innovation in building design and operation, the electric vehicle revolution, and how the developments of the past decade have dramatically changed the nation’s energy landscape.
