LAS VEGAS (Sept. 29, 2017) — Ohio Governor John Kasich, California Governor Jerry Brown and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker will join Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval for a discussion on states’ clean energy initiatives at the “National Clean Energy Summit 9.0: Integrating Innovation” (NCES 9.0) to be held at Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 13.
“Each governor has a vision for their own state and as chief executives, we have a responsibility to pursue and enact the best policies to help our citizens thrive. Governors Kasich, Brown and Baker are all implementing policies to develop their state’s unique renewable and clean energy portfolios and I am grateful they will share the stage with me in Las Vegas to discuss energy policies, best practices and opportunities,” said Governor Brian Sandoval. “It’s truly at the state level where innovation and energy development is happening and I am proud to bring these national leaders to the Silver State for a discussion on these important topics.”
The governors will discuss how states can drive economic development and job growth with policies and investments in clean energy research, development and deployment.
